So here I am at 27 weeks:And a haircut!
And I had my appointment with the Midwife today. I'm officially back to 157, which... LOL, was my pre-pregnancy weight before I lost all of that weight... so I'm apparently at weight gain: 0 lbs!
More tomorrow... getting late and I'm beat.

A short note about D's SHORT hair, lol.
Duncan's hair has been getting so long SO fast after his trims that I told Cam to take him back to the cut I used to give him when he was a baby. I wasn't expecting him to look SO big afterwards though!
Here's his new short cut, from a 1 to a 3 and Cars Raisins [Thanks Bonnie!] as a treat for being a good boy. :) Granted his hair's not gelled or anything but he's still a cutie. :)
He's still in his PJs, this is right after breakfast this morning, and WOW he's getting hard to catch on camera. He's been running away or as the last photo shows, he thinks smiling WITH teeth means getting REALLY close to the camera to bearing his bottom teeth like some type of puppy, lol.
I'll have to take some more when it's a little gelled and he's wearing clothes rather than an old basketball shirt with blue pj bottoms, lol.
Thanks for looking. :)

Hair cut... need opinions...

Getting my hair cut and styled for Mother's Day... I'm thinking this look. Any thoughts?
I'm about this length now, M.M. has a round face like me, and my hair color's a little lighter.
It would basically end up being a trim, layers, maybe some more "fringe" as the kids call it these days (i.e. bangs). Whhheeeelll? Likey? No likey?

a hair-raising dilemma...
I was walking through my hallway, phone rang, answered it... it was Cam (who was driving from school to work). We began to chat, the norm. Until I looked down at my needing-to-be-vacuumed carpet... was that hair?
When was the last time I trimmed my bangs?
Didn't I take the bathroom garbage out just yesterday?
Wait... that's too light to be my-- OH no...
That's when I looked up to the table, at my three-year-old eating her macaroni and cheese. Cameron kept asking what was wrong, because I was silent except for the "OH no..."
Yup.
She did it.
The inevitable thing that happens to every little girl at some point in her life... had happened to mine. I had been so careful and always taught her not to do it... apparently I wasn't clear enough.
Two inches across on the front of Liv's head had been cut to eye level.
It was time for a haircut. :-(
Here are our sad (but CUTE) before and afters...
(Notice the chipper happiness...
this is before she discovered how much I had to cut off.
She's turned to look at her "funny" side in the medicine cabinet mirror.)
She was watching Cinderella... not paying much attention.
When she started bawling in the bathroom,
because "I was just making it longer, momma..." and
"But I like it longer, I want it longer, don't cut it,"
it absolutely broke my heart...
(After reminding her, she'd look like Snow White when we were done,
and of course - that she could have fruit snacks... well, things brightened up.) :-)
So there you have it folks...
My 3-year-old who talks like a 16-year-old
officially looks like a 5-year-old.
(and oddly enough, EXACTLY like my sister Sidney
when her hair was bobbed, lol.)
At least she's cute - man, that phrase saves her every day... :-P
