The B has arrived.

Safe and sound, all is well. :) We've been having fun even though my life isn't terribly interesting and active, I know she likes being with the kids. Even Andrew's warmed up to "Binny".

I flaked out last month with severe writerblogger's block and didn't do the kids newsletters last month, so this month I will do both July and August for both of the kids. MONDAY, hold me to it!

In other news, I'm gearing up to do a collaboration with one of my friends I've known for quite a while from the San Diego area. Her store, www.rainbowwaters.com has HUGE success and I LOVE the things she sells - and it's her 3rd Anniversary with her store! :)

I know that if I were to put some initial cost of starting, fabric, supplies, nanny for the children (haha) - I too could do such wonderful things with my little WAHM business but I just don't have it in me at this time. Especially with watching Andrew Thursdays and Fridays and also with (insert another invalid excuse for continued non-effort.) Naw... it's not that bad. ;) But I am really amazed at the beautiful things she creates and sells and I am so excited to be working along side, in a sense, for this little bit of time. :) Check her out! Here's her blog. :)

Anywho, it's getting me to make some moves myself and I'll be doing some bow, and possibly other things, creations today and list them on the site since it has been ages since I stocked last. Phew.

More later perhaps. Tomorrow will be a BUSY day. Beyond the regular shopping and store hopping, we've got the Zoo, dinner for the kids & Brin, and then we're off to our Anniversary Dinner. :) Busy busy day!

Updates.

Not a whole lot to write about today. This morning we all watched "Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus" in 3D! I KNOW, JUST SO COOL. Regardless, the kids enjoyed the fact that I sat with them, wearing the silly Barbie decorated 3D glasses. Poor Duncan didn't quite get it and I had a hard time seeing anything because I had to turn my head to sort of look at an angle which then acted up my astigmatism, lol. Liv of course was all "IT'S NOT POPPING OUT! WHY?" So we were quite the group.

Now with a mild headache, the kids are at least leaving me alone for a few minutes while watching The Little Mermaid II, with Ariel's daughter Melody. Poor Duncan can't say his own name but constantly says "Eric" because during our days when we're not watching a movie or fighting over whose turn it is, they're reenacting movie scenes - and Duncan is "Eric". After the Barbie movie, Duncan is "Aidan". (Funny because that would have been his name if we hadn't changed our minds 2 years ago, lol.)

Here's Duncan's new namesake:
On the left we have Aidan, Annika (Barbie) and Shiver (the polar cub) looking at a map.

On the right, we have Annika riding with Aidan on her sister, Brietta, who has been turned into a Pegasus by the evil Wizard Wenlock because her father wouldn't allow Wenlock to take Brietta to wed her. And then of course, the Cloud Princesses on their baby pegasuses for fun apparently. This photo makes no sense of course because Annika is wearing her "beautiful gown" that she had magically put on her after she used the Wand of Light on Wenlock to brake all of his spells. But of course, that was WAY later in the movie, prior to which Annika had already changed Brietta back into a human... oh my. Am I real debating this?

Onto other news:

  • Our tax stimulus is coming. Should be here on Friday.
  • I made 3 sales over the weekend totaling $51.48. Not all profit but with 9 bows sold I'm hoping this is a pickup for the site.
  • I got a new planner. (Yeah, "haha" mom.)
  • This weekend Hubbs and I are finally going to Iggy's. It's not that we have been wanting to go there, just simply that it's a place to go out and he had a small gift card from work to there. AND, while looking at their menu, we saw for a limited time you can order two entrees and get a free slice of cheesecake! Woohoo!

still not quite there...

For some reason I'm still not satisfied. I've posted twice this morning, the last right before this one and I just feel like I haven't done much. Of course, journaling wise I haven't.

This week has been a weird one. Literally that would explain it to an exact point but still... something's just different.

Stupid Moments in the last month:

Cameron needed help with some homework, asked his sister Tarra to come over after a family dinner. So we arrive at the house and there are sea gulls EVERYWHERE, caa-ing in the sky, caca-ing on people's cars, just crazy. So, being an Oregonian, my first response to the site is, "Wow, gosh, I feel like I'm at the beach. I didn't even know we had sea gulls here."

To which my handsome husband responds, "Sea gulls are the Utah State Bird."

WOW. *smack* Maybe I should carry around a sign that says "WARNING: May spew out stupid comments that will only further push you to believe I'm incompetent." Yeah. Definitely dumb moment of the month #1.

#2: This morning, at the crack of dawn, Hubbs is getting ready to leave and is a bit hyper trying to make me smile, being a nice guy. Well, I'm grouchy because this was a morning I just did not want to wake up. It was the roll over, oh please, tell me it's not already 6:18, roll over again to force body out of bed physically morning. So after his silly comment and his loudness I begin to gripe at him telling him he's too loud, don't wake the kids, I tell him. "Okay sorry, shhhhh," he says, he's quite the Adam Sandler when he tries. :) So I'm still scolding him because it's after 6:40 and he's not taking me seriously, why I think people need to be serious in the morning, I have no idea, I think I was just not quite awake.

Me: "You just need to take your whole morning routine and lower it about 15,000 decimals."

Hubbs stops. "Decimals?"

Me: "Yeah you know, dropping the toilet seat lid, knocking over my shampoo and conditioner 15 times, slamming the cupboard doors? Shhhhh..."

Hubbs: "Oh. You mean decibels."

Silence.

Me: "Yeah, whatever."

Bahahaha, not only do I sound like a complete idiot but I had to end it with the last word being "whatever", I should have just tipped my hat to side, swung my arms around like a chimpanzee, and told my pimp hey hey move out my crib, ho. (BTW, Brin, you can stop laughing and getting excited, I wasn't wearing a hat or saying "ho" with my lips pursed, lol.)

So there are stupid moments for the month, and today apparently.

Not sure what I'll be up to today. I really should work on my Wedding Album, and I need to find something to wear to the theatre on Wednesday with Jessie, at some point feed the starving children AGAIN. (This is the second breakfast they've had today, lol.) And I just realized I forgot to put lettuce in Cam's sandwiches. UGH.

I am glad, however, for tonight. We're going to take the kids to a small Chinese restaurant down by the corner of 7800 S and 3200 W. It's a fun place, great food, pretty cheap and we all enjoy the wontons. :) Hopefully, after dinner we'll be able to go to the library so that I can get a new book. Either before or after, since Ghost Whisperer is on tonight at 7 though, we'll probably go to the library first right after Cam gets home from work and then head over to the restaurant from there.

Okay, I need to end this and maybe, just maybe, go get something productive done.

Now, all of you stop reading and go outside. Enjoy your non-snowy weather before it starts snowing again.

Temple #2

Here we are @ the Jordan River Temple - excuse the casual dressing. We had to come back and get photos; the first time we were there I didn't have a jacket with me and I was FREEZING. So rather than stand in Cam's jacket looking silly for a photo we hurried inside and decided we'd take photos another time. :-P

Bountiful Temple

Temple #3 off of our checklist: Bountiful Temple

Just another pretty shot... :-)

Cameron & me in front of the temple.
We had a man take the photo for us, it's a little crooked. :-)

Date w/ Cam @ Applebee's in the Gateway Mall

Cameron coughing at the check. Is that a bad sign?

Outside in the Gateway Mall

Double Date with Bettyna & Patrick

The Salt Lake Temple

Bettyna & Me :-D

Cameron & Me

My attempt to get a shot of Cam where he's actually smiling.
It didn't work.
